Description:
This webinar is part of an instructional design series featuring Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Each webinar in the series will focus on a UDL Guideline and the corresponding checkpoints; best practices and examples for meeting the checkpoints will be provided. The UDL Checkpoints 7.1 - 7.3: Provide Options for Recruiting Interest will discuss creating engaging information. Information that is not engaging is automatically inaccessible because it is not attended to by learners. UDL is a design framework that creates equity in education by removing barriers and optimizing student success by presenting information in an inclusive manner. While completing the webinars as they are offered is encouraged, the UDL Checkpoints series does not have to be completed in order.
