Description:
Join us for an introductory webinar where we’ll explore key differences between ADA accommodations in K12 education and higher education. Discover how student support evolves during the transition to college, and why instructors should understand these changes. We’ll also highlight the growing importance of social-emotional learning (SEL) in helping students with accommodations thrive academically and emotionally. By understanding the differences between K12 and higher education ADA accommodations, instructors can craft instructional approaches to meet students' evolving needs as the students adjust to learning in a college setting. The webinar will also highlight how integrating social-emotional learning (SEL) can improve student engagement and success by fostering a more inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
