ABOUT THE ROUNDTABLE

Description:

Teaching Workforce: What has Covid taught us? is a virtual roundtable discussion featuring special guests that are experts in their field or subject matter. Panelists will discuss the creative ways institutions have adapted and the long-lasting changes as hybrid and remote learning become the “new norm”. This session will explore curriculum changes, pedagogical approaches, and implications for student success in virtual workforce environments.

Session Date: October 21, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

 

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss instructional challenges related to Covid-19
  • Identify resources for remote and brick and mortar instruction
  • Discuss Covid-19 adaptation practices for workforce environments

The MSVCC Academy is pleased to introduce the panelists for this session. Dr. Jesse Smith serves as the President of Jones College,  Dr. Courtney Taylor serves as the Vice President of Workforce & Economic Development at East Mississippi Community College, and Ms. Sandy Crist Assistant Executive Director for Workforce, Career, Technical & Adult Education at the Mississippi Community College Board.
