Description:

This webinar is designed to inform the audience of the logic behind resilient design practices, provide a demonstration of the design process, and share tools to help promote resilient instruction in course sites. 

Session Date: September 15, 2020, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

 

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

 

  • Define resilient course design.
  • Describe scenarios in which resilient design is useful for instruction.
  • Create a methodology grid reflecting multiple instructional modalities.
  • List several tools useful for resilient instructional practices.

This webinar is being taught by Dr. Christa Wilhite, the Instructional Design Specialist for the Division of eLearning and Instructional Technology at the Mississippi Community College Board. Christa is a graduate of the University of Alabama and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Professionally, Christa is focused on integrating technology into instructional practices to create learning experiences that are cohesive across modes of delivery. In her personal life, Christa enjoys applying learning and motivational constructs when working with dogs in a training environment.
